Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Is the Lifestyle Map included with all product packages? A: Yes, all “Essentials” and “Showcase” product bundles include it. Otherwise, it is an a-la-carte product. This product is a primary hallmark of what Right Light uniquely provides to all clients, and it is sure to please. It is a proprietary service and product, so please ask for more information if need be.

Q: How much notice do you need for a new booking? A: Typically, at least 3-5 days in advance to secure your preferred time slot, especially during the peak season (April-August). However, we can sometimes accommodate last-minute requests, so please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Q: What is the turnaround time? When will I get my photos and videos?
Our standard delivery schedule is:
* Photographs and Videos: Delivered within 48 hours.
* Lifestyle Map: Delivered within 48 hours.

Q: How will my files be delivered?
Via a link to our Dropbox service, through the Spiro ordering platform.

Q: Are you licensed and insured to fly a drone?
Yes, absolutely. Our pilot is an FAA Part 107 Certified Remote Pilot and we carry a dedicated commercial drone/aviation insurance policy. We operate in full compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.

Q: What is your policy for bad weather?
We do not shoot exteriors or fly drones in rain, high winds, or other unsafe conditions. If the forecast is unfavorable, we will contact you the day before to discuss options. We can proceed with the interior shots as scheduled if needed, however clear skies means great lighting, inside or outside. We can return for either service at the next available opportunity. Or, we can reschedule the entire shoot to the next available date at no penalty.

What We Count as a “Room”:

To ensure clarity, we count only distinctive lifestyle spaces.  This includes:

  • Living Room / Great Room
  • Family Room / Den
  • Kitchen
  • Dining Room
  • Bedrooms
  • Bathrooms
  • Home Office / Study
  • Finished Basement / Rec Room
  • Game Room
  • Lounge / Bar Room
  • Sports Rooms / Gyms
  • Large, Staged Walk-in Closets
  • Front Exterior (counts as 1 space)
  • Back Exterior / Deck / Patio (counts as 1 space)
  • Significant Outbuildings (e.g., a finished workshop, counts as 1 space)

What we DON’T count: Small closets, unfinished utility areas, laundry closets, and garages (unless finished and staged).  Note: Large, open-concept areas that combine a living room, dining room, and kitchen may be counted as 2-3 spaces as they require multiple angles and compositions to capture properly.
